Mengniang couldn't help but murmur, "I didn't know there was such a secluded and tranquil place at home." She heard a dull sound from within the grove.
Mengniang found a man had fallen from the sky, landing deep within the bamboo grove.
The man was unconscious, as if he were enduring immense pain.
"This Gentleman is decent. But who is he, and why is he here?" Mengniang pondered.
The man slowly awoke and asked warily, "Miss, where is this place?"
"You fell from the sky into my family's backyard "
"Thank you, Miss. We shall meet again if fate allows!" The man stumbled towards Court Wall and collapsed from exhaustion.
"Sir!" Mengniang hurried forward to help, but the man waved his sleeve. A surge of Qi pushed Mengniang aside.
